PM highlights Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar as icon inspiring New India

The Prime Minister said the path indicated by Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar and the teachings of Jain Gurus is the solution to these global crises. Prime Minister Modi’s remarks came during a speech at a rally to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji via video message today.

“Today, the world is going through the crisis of war, terror and violence, and is looking for inspiration and encouragement to break out of this vicious circle. In such a situation, it is the ancient traditions and philosophy coupled with the power of India today that proves to be a great hope for the world,” he said.

“Acharya Ji lived a life of non-violence, solitude and renunciation, and made constant efforts to spread people’s faith in these ideas that inspire us all,” Prime Minister Modi added.

Recalling the start of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji, the Prime Minister informed of the privilege he had to unveil the statue of Acharya Ji Maharaj.

He pointed out that a commemorative postage stamp and coin dedicated to Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji was released today with the aim of connecting the masses to spiritual awareness, the life philosophy of Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Maharaj Sahib.

The Prime Minister further added that the two-year celebrations are now coming to an end and the campaign launched to increase faith, spirituality, patriotism and national power is commendable.

“It is a coincidence that today the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Acharya Ji have ended, and after a few days we will be celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Sardar Patel, Unity Day national,” he said.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the “Statue of Peace” is one of the tallest statues of saints and the “Statue of Unity” is the tallest statue in the world.

“These are not only tall statues, but they are also the greatest symbol of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat,” he said.

Highlighting how religious tradition and indigenous products can be promoted simultaneously, the Prime Minister quoted Acharya Ji and said, “The prosperity of a country depends on its economic prosperity, and by adopting indigenous products, one can retain the art, culture and civilization of India. living.”

The Prime Minister stressed that the rich tradition of social welfare, human service, education and public awareness that the Acharyas have developed in the past should continue to grow. “In the Azadi Ka Amritkaal, we are moving towards building a developed India.”

“For this, the country has taken five pledges and the role of the saints paves the way for the fulfillment of ‘Paanch Pran’,” he said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the leadership of the saints is always important in empowering civic duties. He highlighted Acharyas’ role in the campaign for “Vocal For Local” and remarked that it would be a great service to the nation on their part.
