Interview with the Vampire Mini-Teaser Spotlights Our Interviewer


Earlier this week, AMC & showrunner Rolin Jones‘ (Perry Mason, Weeds) highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire began rolling out motion teasers to profile our key players such as sam reidit is (Lambs of God, hunting) Lestat, Jacob Andersonit is (Game of Thrones, Doctor Who) Louis, and Bass Bailey‘ (‘Avatar’ sequels) Claudia. Previously, we had the chance to learn a little about Claudia from Bass (and it wasn’t pretty). This time the focus is on the man leading the interview from the title, Eric Bogosianit is (Talk Radio) interviewer Daniel Molloy.

The series also features a newcomer Kalyne Coleman like Grace, christian robinson (BMF, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) like Levi, Assad Zaman (Hotel Portofino, Petit Ax) like Rashid, and Maura Grace Athari (quarantine therapy). Now here’s a look at a character profile mini-teaser highlighting Bogosian’s Molloy, followed by a throwback to Bass’ Claudia profile. Next, we have the “Quiet Dark” teaser and official trailer from AMC Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampirepremiere on October 2:

In another previously released teaser, viewers first got a chance to hear part of that infamous interview that the title is based on. Now here’s a preview (or rather a listen) to a small preview of what the series has to offer, followed by the official Lestat-focused teaser previously released:

With showrunner Jones writing and executive producing, the seven-episode first season of Interview with the Vampire slated for release this fall and is currently in production (with Witches of Mayfair) in New Orleans. Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, you better call Saul) executive products, as well as Christopher Rice (the late author also retaining an executive producer title). AMC’s deal includes 18 titles in “The Vampire Chronicles” and “The Lives of the Mayfair Witches” book series, including Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, The Vampire Lestatand The time of the crime. Johnson will lead AMC’s efforts to develop the complete Rice collection for television and streaming. Emmy Award-winning director Alan Taylor (Mad Men, Game of Thrones) will direct the first two episodes and serve as executive producer.
