Interview with Jacob Anderson’s Vampire Teaser Spotlights Louis
As fans continue to count the days until AMC and showrunner’s October premiere Rolin Jones‘ (Perry Mason, Weeds) Coming Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, we have another chance to get to know our main actors before the adaptation. Previously we met Bass Bailey‘ (‘Avatar’ sequels) Claudia & Eric Bogosianit is (Talk Radio) interviewer Daniel Molloy, and sam reidit is (Lambs of God, hunting) Lestat DeLioncourt. As expected, this would lead to a look at our interlocutor, Jacob Andersonit is (Doctor Who: Flow) Louis De Point Du Lac.
The series also features a newcomer Kalyne Coleman like Grace, christian robinson (BMF, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) like Levi, Assad Zaman (Hotel Portofino, Petit Ax) like Rashid, and Maura Grace Athari (quarantine therapy). In this previously released teaser, viewers first had the chance to hear part of that infamous interview from which the title is based. Now here’s a preview (or rather a listen) to a small preview of what the series has to offer, followed by the previously released official Lestat-focused teaser:
With showrunner Jones writing and executive producing, the seven-episode first season of Interview with the Vampire slated for release this fall and is currently in production (with Witches of Mayfair) in New Orleans. Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, you better call Saul) executive products, as well as Christopher Rice (the late author also retaining an executive producer title). AMC’s deal includes 18 titles in “The Vampire Chronicles” and “The Lives of the Mayfair Witches” book series, including Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, The Vampire Lestatand The time of the crime. Johnson will lead AMC’s efforts to develop the complete Rice collection for television and streaming. Emmy Award-winning director Alan Taylor (Mad Men, Game of Thrones) will direct the first two episodes and serve as executive producer.
