Final Doctor Strange 2 Poster Highlights Stephen and Wanda Variants

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness received many posters. Every different projection format has its own, and that’s not even mentioning standees. But just over a week from the end, Marvel Studios has just unveiled the “final” poster. And in a big departure from the norm, it’s not just a Photoshop sandwich of every major character. In a classic style, this is actually an art poster, with faux fold lines. And that underscores that we’re likely to have a lot of variations of Stephen and Wanda.

Much of the discussion among Marvel fans centers around possible multi-versal cameos. But the movie’s real story seems to focus on Wanda Maximoff and Stephen Strange who could break or fix the multiverse. Wanda is probably always looking for variations of her imaginary children from Wanda Visionwhile Strange must deal with the ramifications of Spider-Man: No Coming Home. (Though that’s a bit of a retcon – originally his movie was supposed to come out first.) Anyway, it seems Stephen and Wanda’s variants are problematic, as most of them feature scarier designs. Take a look below:

Note that this is also the first poster to feature Michael Stuhlbarg so prominently above the title. He returns as rival surgeon Nicodemus West and will likely cause a lot more trouble this time around. He may be the one who marries Christine in alternate realities.

There are many other design elements at work in this poster. But we’re pretty sure there’s no hidden Deadpool. Let us know what you think we see in the comments!
