Corey Evans Wells, 32, of Bainbridge, Georgia, died Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Chapel of Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Chris Humphries officiating.

Corey Evans Wells was born on June 20, 1990 in Donaldsonville, Georgia, the son of Donald Evans Wells and Jackie Hyatt Wells. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and South GA Technical School in Americus. Corey was a carpenter by trade and a Christian by faith.

The outdoors is where Corey experienced peace. He spent hours walking in the woods admiring the sights and sounds of nature. He was a gentle soul and he enjoyed the simple things like fishing with his grandfather and taking care of his cat and dog. Corey knew unconditional love and cherished the memories he made with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Jackie Hyatt Wells; his siblings, Donnie & Penny Wells of Leesburg, Ga., Dexter Wells of Atlanta, Ga., Tiffany & Sam Revells of Donalsonville, Ga., and Rebecca Deese of Tennessee; his maternal grandparents, Ernest & Donitta Hyatt; and his aunts and uncles, Roy and Trudy Hyatt, Randy and Terry Hyatt, Sandra Heath, Sheila and Johnny Edwards, and Chuck and Natasha Wells. Corey was predeceased by his father, Donald Evans Wells; her brother, Christopher Deese; and her grandparents, Jimmy Wells, Mattie Sellers Wells, Jeanette M. Wells and Louise Gordon.
